Dual List Format Empty

So I obviously understand how the dual list format works mechanically. Given that you're picking blind the only criteria you have to choose from is faction and the two lists presented to you. How do people find this format, do they enjoy it, and do they have tips and tricks for navigating it?

Here's the two lists I'm considering taking to Cold War this weekend:

eFeora -6
Redeemer 6
Vanq 8
Vanq 8
Full Bastions 8
Cleansers 5
Choir (min) 2
Vassal
Vassal

eKreoss -6
Templar 8
Vanquisher 8
Knights Exemplar 5
Bastions (Full) 8
Vassal 2
Vassal 2
Choir (Full) 3
Gravus 5

Typically you either build your lists for either scenario conditions or you can build them for one for hordes and one for warmachine. I usually really plan on playing the one list and have a dummy list that I am not going to play, just to throw off my opponent.

To compare it to Magic, having the second list is kind of like having a sideboard. Cause you could also have the same list twice but with minor tweaks for either scenario or opposing army.

So far I have not minded the two lists thing.
