Club meeting Ocy 20th

We had our kill team games on Tuesday the 6th I the great scooter won the night.
We’re going to continue to do the kill teams for a 40k style tournament here are the rules again.

1) 40k Kill Team Tournament
2) Table Building Clinic

The 40k kill team rules will use a variation of the old Combat Patrol rules:

500 points
No models with a 2+ save (of any kind)
No models (including vehicles) worth more than 100 points
No units worth more than 250 points
1+ Troops
0-1 HQ
0-1 FA
0-1 HS

We'll run pitched battle, 3 objective scenarios with kill points and objective scoring for the wins.

Be prepared to play fast and start at 6. We expect to be able to get 3 rounds of a tournament in during the 3 hours we have for gaming. We'll take as many players as we have and I'll have a couple of ringer armies for filling slots if needs be. Overall winner will receive a $25 gift card to GCS provided by me.

If you're at all interested in how to make a gaming table, either for yourself or for your club come down and check out the clinic that we'll be running. You'll get to learn basic techniques you can apply to your terrain or model bases, some painting and scenic techniques and just have a good time with paint and glue.


One of the new Items were going to try to push is bring a friend. It doesn’t mater to us if your friend dose or doesn’t play GW games. if he or she wants to come down and learn or show us what they play. That’s cool.

We still need to get the tables painted down stairs and terrain painted up.

That's great to hear that we had so many people. I think we should just use the actual Combat Patrol rules at 500 points the only difference from what's above is that you can't have a vehicle with combined AV greater than 33.

We are using combat patrol rules.
Scooter just happened to omit it.

I played Blood Angels, but unfortunately, I had to leave after game 1.
