| So can I put a character in the second rank of a unit even if there is room in the front rank? And if so does say a BSB still confer the magic banner and BSB rules?

| Characters have to be as close to the front as they can be so long as their is space. | |

| In General, unit command takes precedence over characters for the front rank (until make way).
So a 5 wide regular unit with FC will need 2 additional characters before you can keep the BSB in the second rank, you still get all the BSB benefits and magic from banners.

| Yeah thats what I thought, but I didnt want to have to commit to extra characters for what I was trying to do.
