| Most of us can agree that having a Blood Bowl league is a good idea. We can also agree that the one we've got has problems. As such, I would like to open up the floor to discussion. So far, I've had and heard many suggestions, including: - Merging the NIBL and SIBL
- Going to an entirely scheduled format [i.e. discontinuing challenges]
- Making Saturday the main game day, due to various coaches work schedules and the large number of bystanders to recruit
- Adding an automated program to track all team rosters on-line
- Making sure that all coaches are fully aware at the beginning of the league that there is a certain time commitment involved
- Teaching the game to players BEFORE asking them to join
- Dividing into a rookie [challenge] and veteran [scheduled] league, to minimize the effect of coaches dropping out
There's no reason why we shouldn't be able to make this work, and I appreciate all suggestions. -Jack, Head Coach of da Green Machine | |
