So who wants to play 28mm WW1/WW2?

I've been researching some rule systems and mini companies. Now all we need are some players,Lincoln and I have discussed it and are all about doing this. Below are some links to rules and minis, take a look and lets pick one and get this tank rollin guys!!!!!!!!

WW1 ruleswarhammer historicals

WW2 rulesCrusader minitures "Rate of fire"

another good setrules of engagement

Hands down the best sculpted minis renegade minis If you buy them by the regiment sets with the exchange rate and the +40% for U.S shipping they come out to about $25 for 24 minis and the best i cant find them for stateside is $70

old glory has nice figures for both ww1 and ww2 also they have a club thats costs $50 a year for 40% off all products on site and any show they are at.They also have a deal worked out with crusader miniatures usa website that you can use your 40% off there as well

Old glorywebsite

crusader minis usawebsite

another great miniatures company that also carries rules of engagement rule and minis
warlord games ukwebsite

Ok guys there is just a small bit of whats out there LETS GET THIS GOING!!!!!!! give Lincoln and I some input

Old Glory has some amazing miniatures. I wish I could use them for Fantasy and Mordheim... (maybe I can).

I thin WW2 games would be so bad ass

haha - yeah probably. Let's try a game of FoW first and see how it goes. I LOVE the idea of 28mm figs though.

I can be at G&S around 4PM and will be there until 730PM Tuesday

I ordered a British and German (LATE WAR - so I can have TANKS!) army. This way I can have one for other people to play too. I ordered everything from Renegade miniatures.

Here's what I picked up.

British

2 x BRITISH INFANTRY - REGULARS REGIMENT (24 pieces) http://renegademiniatures.com/ww1/ww1br101.htm

Laughing - they pretty much use 4th edition 40k rules with some tweaks for WW1. Easy to learn and WE CAN PLAY AT THE BUNKER - HOOWAHH!

Here's the scenario description I hand in mind.

The Great War

Trade your Storm Bolter for a M1 Garand in this a 28mm WW1 1915-1918 trench warfare battle between British and German troops. Rules being used for this scenario will come from the Games Workshop Historicals “The Great War” rulebook. Unlike other games, this one will be a re-enactment of a real world WAR! The game will run in 1hr increments and will feature 2-4 players per game. Ever wondered how storming a WW1 bunker with a flamethrower would work out? How about driving over bunkers and through barbed wire fences with a Mark IV Tank? Maybe you just want to shoot Germans? Now’s your chance! The Inner Circle Gaming Club will be bringing WW1 gaming to Baltimore Games Day this year. We'll see you, in the trenches!
