30boyz with FNP

So I got this idea of using 30hard boyz and putting the Maddok with em to give them FNP and have a couple questions about it.

1)would that be fun to play with/against or just a pain in the ass?
2)would it be competitive in any way(over 400pts)?
3)would Ghazzy or mek w/KFF be a better company
4)Should the rest of the army be fast(bikes,trukks, or koptas) or sloggers too(kans,dreads or more boyz)

If you are going Maddok, you gotta go Cyborks. A bit more expensive, but come on the Dok knows he can make your boyz smashier.

You have to drop them to 20 for the battlewagon.

The one problem with the dok is that you don't have much control of them. They go straight towards the nearest enemy. Not bad in theory, but your opponent can lure them.

You can use them as your center piece for a foot slogging force. To be honest they probably will not roll your opponent. You probably would try to make them as scary as your could so your opponent pored as much fire power into them while the other boyz make their way into combat. 400 points is okay to throw away is 1000 points of boyz get into hand to hand.

If the boyz go in a wagon they gotta drop to 19 or 18 since the dok and mek will be in there that wouldn't be too bad since I would get 3 Klaws with staying power.

I don't think cybork will be a problem since they are still cheaper than stormboyz and I can afford to lose em.

I was planning on taking nobz and nob bikerz with the painboy upgrade for FNP everywhere and Ill throw the cyborks on them.

Dok let you give cybork to anything in the army for 5 points I think. It actually saves you 5 points for the mek or warboss.

The mek can be in another vehicle, just keep the wagons 6" from each other. My big mek is currently modelled KFF and Burna. The burna gives you the choice of a heavy flamer or power weapon attacks, and I don't really need more power klaws.

I will say that I love my nobs with FNP and cybork bodies. Makes them a pain to kill. I also have a soft spot for Mega Armor Nobz. If you bring the dok then you can make the MAN into 2+/5+, they thing my MAN are scared of is power weapons.

That's why I said 19 OR 18. He might go with em if I only take one wagon

I like my Mek to be a scary bastard. He gets KMB and the PK and the KFF and a runt for good measure. Though if I take MANZ(which I just now happened to convert from some black reach termies and orky bitz)in a second wagon then he def gets the skorcha.

I would not give regular boyz cybork, what for? You'll get that 4+ FNP vs anything that's not S8. And frankly...let them shoot you with S8.

If you do take mad dok though, make sure to take 1-2 units of mega nobz in trukks with cybork bodies to really put some fear in him. The meganobz squads can be used as cruise missiles to go blow up anything that's trying to lure your mad dok squad astray. In this situation I'd keep the dok & 'ard boyz in a battlewagon. Another squad of boyz in a battlewagon with the big mek & Force Field and you've now got 4 must-destroy targets for your opponent, regardless of what else you take in your list.

I used to play my orks like that. Ard boyz with mad dok, klaw, and shootas. Backed up by lootas, snikrot and deff koptas.
