Need some help choosing a new Army

Hey all,

So here's my issue: I currently play High Elves, Empire and Warriors of Chaos. I really like Chaos, but they don't have enough shooting for my taste and plus I feel they're very one dimensional compared to my other two armies. So can I get some opinions on a good army choice? Now my only restriction is that the army has to be one of the evil ones, except Dark Elves (No self respecting HE player would stoop that low )

Well I was going to say follow the real king and go Dark Elves but it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen cough ( Sissy )cough. I would go with ether wood elves, or skaven.

Wood elves few people play them the models look amazing allot of plastic, still have dragons and big creatures amazing fighters, toons of shooting best magic spell in the game. All around solid army plus if you need help with them I know everything about them.

Skaven brand new book models are amazing, more than just one build, shooting and combat monsters magic and in 2250 you could have 3 unbreakable blocks. Crazy good.

Just my opinion on what you should do.

Tomb Kings are due for a new book early this year, might be worth keeping an eye on the rumor mill to see if anything jumps out at you.

I can probably trade you a bunch of Skaven stuff for your Chaos too. I have like 8k of it - most is unpainted. Tomb Kings is fun - but until they redo the book you will lose alot. Also new models would be coming too for some of it.... hate to buy again in 8mos.

You could do new Beasts of Chaos too. Wood Elves are cool - but you have an elfish army already.

That sounds good, I did already buy the skaven book...I have a mix of Old and new Chaos models, so if your still willing I would trade some...

Sat sounds good...at the bunker? How many points?

I think the bunker is going to be full for the tournament. I may be able to go to G&S, otherwise we can play at my house or the Columbia GW store.


(not sure if we're playing late at my house this Sat - we have a tourn and Ravens games)
