weird dwarf rulle?

Need some help from everyone. I was on army builder last night making a weird dwarf list with multiple units of Slayers in it (I know, I'm crazy right?) So the profram said I had an invalid list because I couldn't have more than one unit of Slayers unless I took a Slayer character for each additional unit. I thought that was crazy but since I've never played with multiple units, I changed it. I looked at my army book when I got home and checked the dwarf FAQ and couldn't find that rule anywhere. Anyone ever heard of this? Is army builder being a dee-dee-dee? Thanks guys

Top left corner of page 56 in Dwarf book states


"An army may only normally include a single unit of Slayers. However, for each Daemon Slayer or Dragon Slayer included in the army, you may include a further unit of Slayers. This is, of course, constrained by the number of Special units normally permitted in the size of the game being played."

Here is a dwarf Slayer"ish" list I made awhile ago but never got a chance to try. I tend to go with the extra shield upgrades on my dwarves... seems like more armies are shooting at me in 8th than they were in 7th.

I saw that after. I always assumed it was flavor text and never read it. Scoots and I came up with a list that is an interesting, if small, departure from my usual.

2 units of 8 slayer champions
2 units of 23 quarrellers with great weapons and command
2 grudge throwers
2 cannons
1 organ gun
