We need one more 40k player for a casual, in-house, campaign-in-a-day style tournament. We had 8 players, but one had to drop out. So, we're looking for an eighth.
The tourney starts at 10am, on 12-17-11, in Halethorpe, MD.
The format is as follows:
A 3 round campaign-in-a-day tourney with 2000pt army lists. The games will be 2 hours and timed by chess clocks. INAT FAQ is in effect for any rules diputes. Pairings will be randomly determined. The overall tournament winner will be the one with the highest total battle points at the end of the day. End of day tie-breaks will be decided by total tournament victory points so we'll keep track of those too.
The starting order will be determined by a quick Kill Team game (Battlemissions, p.90). Kill teams are set at 200pts. In addition to determining the initial rankings, the winners of the kill-team game will receive a stratagem they may use in a future game.
Winner will receive an epic trophy, the envy of his peers, and the ire of his enemies. . .
