| I like the red accents in place of the usual green. and the red skulls are a cool idea too. I do feel like there's not a lot of contrast on the models (excepting the bone accents) but they look good considering the time you spent.
If you're looking for a game to get back into it there's usually folks at GNS on sundays and tuesdays.

| Very true the contrast is lacking, but as you said when you break it down to time per model its something like 22 minutes a model, and more time was spent on the bases then anything else.
The red worked better then I thought it would. I just was so tired of seeing everyones Cryx in green. And I really wanted to do lava bases.

| Looks cool, Joe! I especially like the Pistol Wraith with the red skull.
Hopefully, we will be able to get a game in sometime.

| Joe how did your game go on Tues? And I think I can get you an extra pistol wraith hand if you want it. I have 2 of the normal poses and 1 variant so I ahve 1 extra pistol wraith I don't use. | |

| The game was good, John won, but I didnt expect to win really. It was more of a learning experience from a guy who plays a lot.
The unit with the big swords is hard for my army to deal with. I want to keep everyone at a distance until I want to strike and that unit is suited to get at me quick and even quicker if I start killing them off.
I think the next time I run into that unit or trollbloods in general I will not deploy up as far or move out as far on my first turn. If I set it up right with 2x Pistol Wraith, 2x Night Wretch, and the Bile Thralls I should be able to kill most of the unit and clean up what is left with the Jacks. That is of course barring the Troll player being on with their tough rolls.

| A unit of Bane Thralls will do you good as well. 11 pts for a full unit with UA and you get stealth, tough, can't be knocked down, weapon masters with a -2 ARM to target while in B2B with them. Good stuff. However usually Banes are an answer to pretty much anything so are kinda a crutch. If you want to try anything let me know, like I said on Tuesday I almost own every Cryx model produced. I've just never played Deni. My favorites are eSkarre and Venethrax. | |

| My 2 cents is that you have too many arc nodes. They aren't bad in combat, but you're paying for the node and not getting the effect. I think 2 or 3 would be enough with the points going into a bigger jack or a unit (Banes of some variety...or Mechani-Thralls). | |

| @John - yeah to be honest it was what came in the battlebox, and the night wretches I added because they are awesome when used with Denny. Most likely when I have the time to paint them I will drop 1 or 2 light jax and add in a unit of Bane Thralls or Styxis Raiders or something. | |

| Well you could do something like this if you like the Wretches.
Deni w/ 2 x Wretch, Slayer Full Bane Thralls w/ UA Tartarus Min Bile Thralls 2 x Pistol Wraiths
So your losing 3 of the Arc Nodes and gaining a full unit of Banes with Tartar sauce for support.
