Warhammer Online!!!

Does anyone play warhammer online???

I used to play but it go kindof boring because only me and a couple of my buddies played. Just wondering if anyone else played I might start getting back into it!!!

my understanding is that WHO is dying the slow death of a failed MMO, there are still subscribers but they're just keeping the lights on and not producing any new content.

Well they're down to 6 servers, but those six are apparently balanced and most likely have a healthy population.
Since I quit they've added the Tombkings expansion, there's 24 classes available now. Mac client is available for all those weirdos and they've been trying to crack the azn market.

Oh yeah.. and it's free to play tier 1.

I used to play it and had a level 40 Disciple of Khaine and a level 31 Shadow Warrior before I realized how terrible the game is. There just wasn't enough content, and the content they had has horrifically boring (Ex: RvR). Theres also the fact that all classes are played by spamming one or two abilities over and over again.

Yep they missed the mark. Should have just done DAoC 2 and made a bundle.

yeah it was like fun up until everything was just being repeated over and over again, the only thing I wanted to do that I never was apart of was taking a city haha

Same, but I heard that the city fights were nothing more than public quest grinds. It sure is ironic that their "RvR" has more "PvE" than "PvP".

Camelot had the best rvr. probably still does I think they're chugging along with a 2k pop server.

i had a 40 squig herder and like jonny said its just one ability, lol i just sold my copy of the game on ebay for 3 dollars

haha wow it went down hill fast but I herd they were going to try and re-do the whole system of game play soon

I was a DAOC lifer - well sort of. i had like 15 characters on all realms and loved pvp servers when they were popular too. WAR online has no teaming benefits and I hate to solo PvE. PvP seems meaningless.

Yeah Lincoln I was a die hard DAoC fan as well, the only MMO I've seen out there that has tried and succeded at breaking the mold. Just sad that TB@V broke up. I miss my warrior and savage.

DAoC was fun about 7-9 years ago around Shrouded Isles, everything after that has been for the worse. Warhammer Online was okay, but 1 vs 1 world RvR is just asking to be lopsided. Having your capital city under siege several times a week dampens your spirits. Also having zone crashes when you are trying to take keeps suck.

I hate to admit it but WoW is the king and can be enjoyable. The PvP is a bit weird, you can do the casually battle grounds. Arena is not really for casualls, unless you like getting roflcoptered by other teams.

LOL - We should have a DAOC night. I still have a good Mid account. RR7 SB, bunch of RR5ish War, Thane, Skald, Shaman, Healer, SM

Do you still play WAR though I havent played in like 6 months, I have like a level 33 squig herder, 27 black orc, and a bunch of other guys all from like 15-25 on almost every race excpet dwarfs I dont like them in the game haha

Actually if you just want to tool around WAR, I think they have a thing that you can play as much as you want for free until level 10.

Normally BGing from 1-10 was enough to get my fix and I would cancel my account again.
